fReinforcing its presence in the students’ broadband market, ΟΤΕ adds a new product to the commercially successful Conn-x “family”. OTE allows students to get broadband Internet connection, via ADSL access at attractive prices, with the OTE’s credibility. The package will be offered to non top, but beneficiary students, according to the specifications of “Diodos” Action. 

For Students comprises:

 Every beneficiary student who wishes to be supplied Conn-x For Students shall take the following steps:

 

  • He/she shall be informed on the OTE’s offer and on the terms of participation in DIODOS Action, via DIODOS-Portal (http://diodos.edu.gr).
  • He/she shall register as a member of the Action, by filling-in the electronic form, with his/her personal references (Full name, address, etc), as well as with his/hers academic references (attended Institution, register number, year of admission, etc). As a result, the student will be given a personal username and password, identifying him/her by the Portal.
  • He/she shall select the OTE offer desired speed, via the providers’ Offers for students option.
  • He/she shall fill-in the references, concerning the telephone connection to be used by Conn-x, and print the application. The application shall bear a unique code and indicate the eligibility date.
  • Finally, and after the beneficiary has gathered all the necessary supporting documents, he/she shall contact the Telephone  service center "13888".

 

The necessary supporting documents, for subscription at the service For Students , are the following:

 

  • A certificate of studies, issued by the secretariat of the University, or the Technical Education Institute faculty that the student attends. The above certificate shall indicate the student’s register number, the semester of studies the student attends, the date of his/her admission at the faculty, and the total duration of studies, based on the program of studies.
  • A printout of the DIODOS application: In any case, the beneficiary subscribes anew, via DIODOS electronic site, http://diodos.edu.gr, and produces the new subscription (older DIODOS subscriptions are not valid). The DIODOS application shall indicate OTE and the conn-x Student package.
  • The Application Form For Students, which is available to the interested student, either at the OTE sale points, or upon the delivery of the equipment, signed by both the student and the holder of the telephone connection, if the student and the telephone connection holder are not the same natural person. Alternatively the application form may be signed by any of them, provided that he/she will produce the authorization of the other party, for the signing of the contract, accompanied by his/her signature authentication (by any Public Authority, e.g. a Citizens’ Service Center, the Police, etc).
  • The ID card/ passport of the beneficiary, as well as of the holder of the telephone connection, if the telephone connection is not in the name of the beneficiary. Foreigners originating from countries outside the E.U., shall produce the relevant passport copy, as well as a copy of their residence permit in force.
  • A solemn statement of the student, certifying his/her residence address.

 

Note: All the supporting documents shall be original (except for the ID card and the printout of the DIODOS application).
